Josh Friedman was born on June 24, 1994 and passed away on November 18, 2011. In between he made countless friends, was a Best Buddy at Unionville HS, an actor in multiple productions including his famous role of Tiny Tim in a Christmas Carol, was a camper at Bournelyf Special Camp, played baseball for the Bears Challenger League team, was the assistant coach of the Unionville Ice Hockey team, loved superheroes, and was a Flyers, Phillies and Cowboys fan. Josh made thousands laugh, smile, and now remember him as someone with a magnetic energy that will never be forgotten. Josh was diagnosed with DC when he was 8 years old. He thrived and never let his challenges get in the way of being a friend and inspiration to others. Many of the therapies and treatments for DC were not available or too risky during Josh’s life. We honor Josh by continuing to raise awareness and research dollars in supporting Team Telomere’s Million Dollar Bike Ride. Josh’s life was way too short, but he lived it with energy and impact and our family is blessed with his life and memories as our brother and son.
